Mitchkov has a two-year contract in Russia. With KHL contracts is if you sign one and then you want to leave early You have to buy it out. Jonas Frogan had to buy himself out the Leafs helped him out financially which got them a fine. Petri Contiola was very briefly a leaf Could not hack it with the skating at all so After buying himself out of his deal. He didn't even make the team at a camp, he was with the Toronto Marlies as a result but ended up going back to the KHL.
