For 20 12 and 20 13, i had the. real honor, to ser as the class of 19 51 chair for the study of leadership at the united states military academy called west point. And i learned a great deal about how it is entirely possible to build leaders. For example, i came to the conclusion that my west point cadets were, in general, happier than my stamford mba students that i taught. I think it has to do with the fact that they are there in an ethic of service that's immense. That is communal success. You never succeed alone, and they know that.
