Do You Know if You're Giving a Real Placebo?

One thing that I have noticed is some people aren't actually giving a true placebo. They don't give, uh, all the excipients. They give a sugar tablet for instance. Some people save a bit of money by just giving them saline spray or just giving a metabolite which isn't true placebo. That's not so good. Tricky.
