The KMT's Call for a National Holiday for Workers in Taiwan

Thousands of people took to the streets of Taipei this past Monday. The KMT used the day to call on the government to make May 1st or Labor Day a national holiday. Taiwanese worked over 2,000 hours last year, and that was just an increase over the Thai administration. It's also then a question whether there will be any action, particularly ahead of an election.
