The Effects of Indoor Cycling on Blood Volume

The four second sprints are a very potent neuromuscular workout. The increase and increase in blood volume by itself can raise the O2 Max about 10%. It's most likely due to increases in erythropoietin or EPO that increases the red cell mass. We're thinking about doing a study to see if EPO is increased.
