Gene Enrichment Analysis - What's the Relationship Between Gene Expression and Memory?

Cambridge University study finds 300 genes that are significantly correlated with memory related oscillations in the bits of brain they'd removed from subjects. They were able to show that actually these genes are implicated in a whole host of neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD and schizophrenia. Duncan Astell: The really exciting thing here is being able to link the gene expression with something to do with people's neurophysiology. He says one possibility is that they code for different processes that control your synapses - how they have their impact on brain activity or outcomes.
