On the christian station, this verse is a beautiful description when mary breaks open her alabaster box and pulls out her full pound of spikenard. Can you imagine the smell in that room? We talk about the holy anointing oil and the the perfumes and oils and and resins and things that were part of the altar of incense in the tabernacle of moses and in the temple of solomon.
