The Human Rights Foundation Grants Bitcoin Development Fund
The Human Rights Foundation has granted 2 billion satoshis, which is approximately 475,000 US dollars from the Bitcoin Development Fund to 10 global projects. The funding will support areas such as censorship, resistance, communications, Bitcoin education and authoritarian regimes with a focus on Africa and Southeast Asia. HRF has allocated over $2.2 million in BTC and USD to more than 70 developers, educators and open source initiatives since early of 2020.
