Science and the arts of destruction have gone together for a very long time. I was brought that out in a way which was eliminating as well, that these wars that were being fought were wars that had emerged from the actions of scientific practitioners. We've been talking about The Age of Wonder by Richard Holmes; we're going now from Science to Magic,. My choice of a good read is a novel called The Sword in the Stone by T.H. White. It's about the childhood of King Arthur, he of the Knights of the Round Table fame.
