The colorado river used to flow into the gulf of california, which is the sea of cortes. The water just doesn't exist any more, because it all gets stuck behind the dam. There's been 20 years of extreme drought in the south cost united states. So there's going to be dramatic change in the colorado river in the future. But environmentalists are often the under dogand so we do what we can to try to always keep one eye on the river's health and the health of the fishes"
