There's a whole fascinating sci-fi story waiting to be written about whether you have left handed or right handed chirality in a life form. I'm pretty sure this is true. The molecular form of the flavor for mint, okay, it's spearmint, is identical to caraway, except caraway has the opposite handedness. But yeah, no, we would need to develop experiments put out in space to actually be able to measure that. So and we're sort of in the first steps when we're going out to look at planets and things.
Have we disproven the idea of a “goldilocks zone”? Neil deGrasse Tyson and comedian Paul Mecurio learn about space geology, magnetic fields, volcanoes, and the origins of life with cosmochemist Natalie Starkey, PhD.
