People who looked like modern Northern Europeans really didn't exist at the beginning of the Bronze Age, 3000 BC. And those people mostly are absorbed or disappear. You saw the rise of an Egyptian Empire that reached all the way into like Southern Turkey and also into what is today, Northern Sudan. So, I would argue that the emergence of these empires is partly correlated with the rise in trade and diplomacy driven by the Bronze economy.
