What Are the Consequences of a Ban on Diversity?
Nine states have banned consideration of race and admissions. The data is that it was most pronounced for black students. In some places, there were diminutions in Latinx students as well. But overall, schools from Michigan and from California filed brief saying they've had a devil of a time trying to reach the levels of diversity on campus at their top schools.
