The Social Model of Disability
The social model of disability takes a focus on removing disabling barriers. It comes about from somebody called Big Finkle Thine, who was the apartheid activist inside Africa. And he was the one who came up with this idea of what is it that disables me. That would pick up in this country and taken on by sociology - which had informed our entire exhibition.
