I'm fascinated by that answer because you mentioned there practical things and actually things that are very relevant in class-based politics. What you don't mention there is the kind of identity. Where you have to acknowledge first that for instance to be white, whiteness is now an issue for some on the American list. But it's your character that matters then, not the color of your skin. We well, when we talk about building a working class in America and a working class movement to a significant degree, it is a movement of people of color. If we raise the minimum wage to a living wage, which I'm fighting to do, it will impact black and brown people even more than
