The story is a satire about the japanese left, and in particular, making fun of the language of revolution that many of its members had bandied about during the anpo protests. The protagonist gets into a fist fight with a cross dressing empress, dowager sholken,. Both he and the empress get into a scatalogical ming match. It ends with the people essentially turning the executions into a festival, complete with fireworks and rocugo.
