Post colonial theorizing has been incredibly important to question the narrative about the west as a self producing entity, creating its own industrialization and modernity. The term 'post-colonized' can be used in different ways by poland's government which uses it for referring to the european union. It is also very controversially debated on whether or not this type of theory should be considered when looking at post Colonial Europe.
