When you look at the profile of returns of different trading strategies you can get some that look very stable most of the time and then occasionally they have this nasty left tail. I've really enjoyed over the last bunch of years finding other walks of life that apply a similar thinking so I can look at the financing of Hollywood films, professional blackjack players or venture capital. It's not exactly the same but a fair way to bring people into the idea of what you do.
