The Buddha's Sutra on Mindfulness of Feelings
During these next two months, what I'd like to do is to continue the discussion of the next sections. Important to understand that the Buddha gave this particular teaching, and really all of his teachings, in the context of freeing ourselves from suffering. So he's talking about liberation, not about simply getting more comfortable in our lives. The teachings in the suta address much larger questions. And so for this time in our practice, I think it would be inspiring to enlarge our sense of what is possible.
