"It's a little like mob rule because if you can get the mob to run at somebody's house and burn it down or tar and feather omelette as has happened in times past, then you can get them ... less likely to speak up," he says. "We have over-representation of opportunists who are willing to do whatever it takes on either side just to achieve their particular ambitions."
