The Impact of Academic Research on the Lived Reality of Students
How do we know that academic research has some sort of impact on the lived reality of studentss? I don't have an easy answer for you. It's a tricky thing, because obviously, if i publish the research article in an academic journal, there's no direct link between that article and what happens to some students in some higher education incided somewhere in real life. But at the same time, we are talking about expert knowledge, and of course, it matters what kindf what kind of expert knowledge is produced about a certain group of people.
