In high school, his Bible teacher had us read through Wayne Grudom's systematic theology. That was my first venture into kind of a systematic, organized approach to thinking through doctrine. And I think from there, it became something that I was passionate about. Because he is a person. It's not studying plants or insects. We're actually studying a living being.
