Sleep and nutrition play an important underlying role in this whole injury cycle I believe for many climbers. Avoid climbs that feel injurious to you or put your shoulders in risky positions. The 753 protocol with added weight is a really good program for developing maximum strength it's the hangboard protocol that I use twice a week when I'm training maximum strength.
