The main concern we have for Kawasaki is the coronary artery aneurysms. If those are left unknown, there are cases all the time about 20 year olds that have heart attack. And one of the causes of that is missed KD as a kid. That person wasn't diagnosed, developed an aneurysm over time and became stenotic or a thrombost which led to an MI and a young adult.
