The Rise of Plastic Packaging in Laptops

ThinkPad is using bamboo inlay trays instead of styrofoam to hold the laptops in place, for example. They're going to completely eliminate plastic packaging by the end of this year. So I think they've done a lot of good work on that front in particular. But it was an interesting trip and interesting to see these big manufacturers starting to talk more seriously about this stuff.
