The Importance of Getting All the Stakeholders Together Before Starting a Data Science Project

A paper just got accepted to an orthopedic journal that looks at predicting which patients did discharge to a nursing facility versus home after total hip arthroplasty. And the benchmark model that we use to compare our results was published in 2018. That data compared to now, there's a lot more patients going home. A lot better getting patients home, you know, rather than to a sniff or someplace else.
