The Candle System: A Linear Progression
There are some negative quirks where it's like, if you don't clear this, you're not going to make it to the end of the run. The later trinkets that get added into the pool are just simply better. It is a linear progression. You unlock them in a set order. And the later ones are just better. Some of them can make your entire run go from a disaster to, okay, my vestal is so good now I don't even really have to worry about HP anymore.
