Is There a Difference Between Recruiting and Interviewing?

I feel like when you're searching for your first job, you have the luxury of just like doing it at home. You don't have like raw desperation that you haven't collage. Do you feel like the interview process itself was also really different? Like when you actually spoke to the recruiters because you have some sort of work experience and you're not just like a desperate college student.
