I read some newspaper articles from the day after the recording went out. To see, you know, did it happen? Or you know, was this kind of craziness? Did it exist? And they said that Senator Clyde Herring of Iowa had called for more regulation of the press as a result of everyone thinking that the Martians had attacked. I mean, there were people who obviously did lose their mind. But it's attempting myth.
