The Difference Between a Mathematical Dude and a Scientist

A modern day physicist is impossible without being a mathematician in some way, of course. But if you bring up these old examples, like leonardo de vinchi, for example, and you say he had no mathematical background, i think that's where you can split up the physicists or, like, the scientists. Back in the day, before, like, modern notation was invented, math looked very differently. Looked very n different, very, very different.
