How Do You Deliver Honest Feedback?

In order to receive good feedback from people on your team, they have to trust you. The first step to creating an environment where people will be truly honest with you is to show them that there's nothing to be afraid of. And i look for opportunities to show people that we are all improving, and we are all on this journey together. Trust is not something that is binary. It's a continuum, and it's gradual. You're going to start with zero or minimal trust as you get know someone, and it’s going to increase. So the other thing that's really, really important is patience and to not rush it in any way.
