Product Management for Strategic Versus Tactic Decisions

The question is, how do you deal with kind of making an investment where you're going to be an expert in five years? Some companies are comfortable doing that. But it's just a slower cycle, right? You're not getting feedback as much. And even if you have feedback, you have less users than you would for another app so you're dealing with a small data set. It's really hard to say, I'm going to bet my business on this technology in the future.
