The Twist Dynamic in Movies
There's an interesting little discussion to be had here about like that kind of twist dynamic in a movie. A lot of times how impactful a big huge twist like this can be depends on sort of being blindsided by it. And so if you're just like looking the whole time for waiting for it to happen, it takes some of the air out of that. I think there's still interesting stuff about the movie to discuss. It doesn't completely escape that dynamic. Like I was still even a little bit underwhelmed watching it a second time but I did get something out of it.
