How Does Pollution Affect Brain Development?
I was particularly taken by your statements about the effects of pollution because at least in the US, the neighborhoods that are most polluted are the poorest. That's where people are much less mobilized to fight back. How does that affect brains and intelligence and happiness? Yeah, pollution is terrible. It's really bad. I think for, you know, cognitive function, like working memory and attention, pollution is bad during development and even during adulthood. And there's been a bunch of associations with intellectual disability and autism.
