The Prospects for Senator Tim Scott

Tim Scott is announcing his candidacy on Monday, May 22nd. The interesting thing about Scott, I think, is that unlike Trump and DeSantis who have sort of angry messages, Scott really tries to speak with a message of hope and optimism. But do we know how he would stack up against President Biden if he were to get to a general? I mean, he has much more conservative policies. He's in his 50s. He's much younger. He has an optimistic message like Biden. So what are the real prospects for the senator?
