The Effects of Microgravity on Bone Density
Liz Cooper from the British Academy of Sound Therapy spoke to Will Tingle about her new piece. She said that babies are used to sounds like womb sounds and so with this particular piece she created was to start off by allowing that safety that feeling of safety to happen. One downside of being one of the few lucky scientists who get sent into space is that when you return to earth you might be left with the skeleton of a 70 year old. Scientists aren't entirely sure but they think it might have something to do with changes in our microbiome the trillions of bacteria that live inside us.
