Phil Collins worked really hard trying to learn the proper way to figure his bass part so that his miming looked as authentic as possible on a rickenbucker bass. He achieved all the multiple take things by using. I don't know what the actual system is, but it must have been akin to the one that David Cronenberg used on deadringers. Phil Collins had done the whole playing a whole band by himself thing. Much like the Simpsons, Phil Collins did it for this video for two hearts in 1998. And Paul McCartney did something similar for the coming up video in 1979, but he had some help from Linda, but it's a great video. What do people think the
