The WGA is proposing a rule that writers have to be employed for the entire show and a rule tying the number of writers in the room to the number of episodes you have per season. In an interview i did with Avery Trebleman she told me about how there was a rise in unscripted television so reality tv in the last writer strike because studios had to figure out what to do when there were no writers. There's so many abuses that happen in the reality tv industry like all the blind dates where cast members sometimes fell asleep during set due to exhaustion.
