Wendell Carter Jr. was probably better than Aiden this year, and people are pitching me these trades like, well, Wendell in a first gig at first. I thought that dialogue was a little weird. And lastly, the Durant stuff is going to be very, very loud. They needed him to be transcendent in the series and he was just good. But it's not like pretend that he shrank from the moment or just laid an egg. He struggled at times to get clean looks and he struggled to make threes. It does feel like he's paying some sort of karmic price for the Warriors decision.
