How to Correct a Poorly Polymerized Composite Light
If you find though that the irradiance is a part, what can you really even do about that? At that point, do you just replace the light? The best thing to do is obviously to contact the manufacturer. If it's only decreased say by 20% then you could just increase your lecturing time by 20%. I don't really have a hard fix number to tell you, but I would say if it goes below 60%, I really would like to get a new curing light. Most posterior composites fail at the bottom of the proximal box. That is the spot where there is the least amount of light and that’s the area where the composite is least well cured
