The Rational Irrationality Hypothesis
Theory of rational irrationality is that humans evolved to essentially be epistemically rational only when it helps them. And so in the book, I try to explain the rational rationality view and then explain why I don't actually think that makes sense. It's a big counter argument to what I'm saying in the book. What I'm saying is that we should be in scout mindset much or all of the time - having more accurate beliefs would be good for us.
