"There's something about an evil character. There's a kind of sadism," he says. "Their intentions are set up in a way, and the things they do are just beyond anything i could conceive of myself as doing." He adds that social psychology tradition is very fond of saying it's a huge mistake to attribute evil to anybody because it really isn't their fault.
