Where does this leave victims of rape and those campaigning for more effective prosecution policy? Well, i do think that there is still an inherent reluctance for the court to consider the reasoning put forward by the c p s in these cases. The f n m case really focused on procedural issues and not the substance of c p s decision making. And it's right to conclude by focusing on victims of raped and sexual assault. They have been, and they continue to feel, wholly let down by the justice system. That was apparent from the really heart breaking scenes when the e vor judgment was delivered.
