The Importance of Slavery in Islam
Abu Bakr and Al-Ma'ad become the two shakes of the community, inseparable. In this early day of Islam, Abu Bakr is the one purchasing a beaten slave to free her from his cruelty. He said, oh my father, I am seeking with their freedom what is with Allah. Guess what came down as a result of that? Surat al-Laid. Naba'as al-Dilaw, Anhu says the consensus that Surat al -Laid was revealed about Abu Bakr, al-dilaw, al-Talan.
