Do You Want to Work Without Any Effort?
There's four skills I should say. Anchoring into one specific thing, then monitoring so kind of noticing when you're going off track and then disengaging from the distraction - that's a distinct skill. And then you redirect back to the original chosen object to focus. So it's a lot like if you were to imagine someone practicing pole vaulting. What they're really trying to practice is being able to get over higher and higher bars. By getting yourself more able to lock onto a task effectively, you're able to make sure that all of your effort is directed into improving in that task.
