Do You Think California's Privacy Laws Are a Function of California?

Do you think that the sort of like specific prescriptive industry level or feature level regulation is a function of just, well, it's California and those companies are based there? Do you think that played a role or is that just a coincidence? It might be coincidence. I do think that historically California has always been on the forefront. And I take that back. We wouldn't have had the legislative mechanism to pass a ballot initiative in New York. So from a legislative perspective, you can put a ballot initiative up and get popular vote on it in California in a way that's not available in other places. But I think it's a general concern and this concern isn't new, right
