The New Atheist Attacking Christianity

No one mounts a sustained attack against jesus christ himself. They don't even try, he says. Even when people are launching their most vehement criticism of not only the church, but christianity, they sort of exempt christ from that criticism. And so there's where i find hope in that. We already instinctively know that christ is the standard of a righteous human beingof a life rightly lived. I mean, i believe all that the creeds confess about a final judgment, but alreadychrist is the standard, and everybody pretty much knows that.
