Andy Warhol and the Velvet Underground

Andy Warhol got his start in New York City back when he was 22 years old as a commercial illustrator. He's making pretty good money, but it wasn't really exactly what he wanted because what he wanted most of all is to be accepted in the fine art world. According to legend, one of Andy's friends said, okay, I had enough of this complaining,. So Andy's like, all right, hand me my wallet Let's go. And then another great idea is and his friend said,Okay, you should paint something that everybody sees every day. Something that everyone can recognize like a like a can of soup. Comes an iconic image. We've all been to college
