The Name of Our Tree Is Salon Cinnamon Tree
The name of our tree, as I just said, is Salon Cinnamon Tree. However, Salon is the colonial name for the country that we now know as Sri Lanka. The old colonial name kind of still sticks around when we talk about this tree from that place. So maybe we can just go with the scientific name, which is Synomom Viram. But that also is problematic to which we will return in the future.
