Oral Bacteria Causes Cavities

As our diets changed, the bacteria and our mouths became a lot less diverse. Not all of these bacteria are bad, but some can cause tooth decay in cavities. Cavities aren't just a hygiene thing; they are sort of an infectious disease. Research shows that knowing how susceptible to cavities the parents and day care providers are can give us a good idea of how likely a child is to get cavities themselves.
